Barnier: UK can’t have Canada trade deal with EU

The UK cannot have the same trade deal with the EU as Canada, according to the bloc’s chief negotiator.

If this is a surprise to the British Government, then it displays extraordinary incompetence.

If not, it is an indication of how heavily they have lied to us.

Either way, this is going to get very nasty.
