FlightCase is a companion to Apple’s Music.app.
FlightCase does two jobs well :
- Bookmark your favourite music, for easy replay and sharing
- Lookup crowd-sourced content about the music you love
FlightCase is in the last stages of testing on TestFlight, should be released next week, ping me if you would like a preview.
I had supper with friends last night, this gave me the chance to do some impromptu user testing with their kids.
I think the best question was: “Why not just use Goggle?”
Because FlightCase is not a general purpose search engine, giving you many false positives, it is highly focussed on music and gives you curated results from the work of thousands of music fans on sites like Last.FM, Discogs and MusicBrainz. This makes all the difference.
